Ant Awe 6

Ant Awe 6 is an evolution of the design used for AA5 and has been based on the heavyweight Iron Awe 6.

Ant Awe 6 features the same chassis construction as AA5 with a completely removeable 0.5mm Aluminium Shell and Flipper mounted on a 2mm HDPE base.

The drive is still provided by 2, 30:1 ratio motors although it is now controlled by one of Peter Waller's Option D boards. This allows us to run the flipper servo directly from the battery giving a much more powerful flip.

The power comes from the same 180mAh, 2 cell LiPo's that were used in AA5 as this gives a long running time and is incredibly light and small.

This version of Ant Awe 6 was tested at the Tag Team Championships before making its competition debut at RRC 19.  It worked very well coming second overall in the football scoring 12 goals in total with its partner Wolking (from Team Blitz). It then entered the non spinner combat and did fairly well winning a couple of fights before getting knocked out by Criminal Ant.

Ant Awe 6 also has a separate HDPE shell which can be put on for fighting spinner robots although this has yet to be tested in full combat.
